During my 36 years of life I have imagined a lot of terrible things. Having a child with terminal cancer would be at the top of my list. I can’t even wrap my small brain around what these parents must feel, the loss, the emotional strain. Again I can not imagine.

A few days ago I was clicking on links around the internet and found this Pulitzer Prize winning feature. Renee C. Byer it’s called: “A Mother’s Journey”

Those of us with healthily children are truly blessed. I know I take mine for granted everyday.

On a related note the women of our family will be walking in Denver’s “Komen Race for the Cure”. This event supports finding a cure for Breast Cancer.

2AM in the morning…

To bad my wife actually reads this blog. I would totally do this. However, she would then turn around and shove that light saber somewhere the following evening while I sleep. Not worth it…but funny.

Every once in a while we must all get away and go on vacation. Next time you need to head out.  Use this interesting destination chooser. No matter what I pick San Fransisco, CA keep popping up…hmm. SCARY.

Once you pick the first time you have some options after that. Check the ‘Hide popular destinations’ for some true places that you might really find interesting. Post where your going next.
