For many reasons Sunday is my favorite day of the week. First football, by far the best TV sport to watch. My wife had an event at the football game tonight. She even had a spare ticket for me to go. However there was no way I was going to sit out in 20* weather to watch football. After all it’s almost as good in front of the TV.
Second reason, it’s the day before the work week begins. Me being the “planner” I am; Sunday is full of thoughts about Monday. I know it sounds crazy, but it’s the truth. I truly enjoy thinking about what is to come and planning that time in my head.
Now with that said, the third reason I love Sunday, is the lack of “being needed” for work. With my job my cell phone can ring on Saturday helping customer, etc. On Sunday all those customers are at home doing what I am doing.
Our new Yellow Labrador Retriever is getting trained. She is 9 weeks old is almost house trained. She can sit, and will even stop nibbling on the kids when you tell her “NO”. Our Beagle is getting adjusted. The Beagle has never the dominate one when other dogs are around, however with the Lab, she is making it know this is her house. It’s very interesting to watch. They play a little rougher than I would like at times, but not major growling yet. I think they are starting to get use to each other.

Are bowling alleys coming back in style? I was thinking about this yesterday as the family and visited one of the new Brunswick Zone alleys yesterday. In the 90’s I don’t thin I ever stepped foot into one. Maybe I am just easily impressed? Have they ever gone out of style. This alley was full of loud music, a DJ, pool tables, video game center, and even laser tag? After having so much fun yesterday I am thinking this could be a monthly outing for us.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. I spent the day with family and friends stuffing my face with everything from what my sister calls “ugly dip” to Dutch apple pie(my favorite). This had to be the first Thanksgiving that I don’t have anything bad to say about. Food & Family was great, so was the nap my wife let me take.
Today I watched Payton Manning through the last 2 of his 6 Touchdowns. This guy is absolutely incredible. He’s on my Fantasy Football team this year. I have been an active member of this Fantasy game for over 5 years and love it. Fantasy Football has changed the way I view the sport. In the past I have had my favorite teams, and followed the players on those teams. I have built loyalties to certain coaches and players over the years. However the Fantasy game makes you look at the hole league in a different way. It makes you pay attention to who may be in the last year of a contract and my perform better at a certain time. Also makes you look at teams that struggle, and when those teams are coming to play your favorite team. Whoever thought of Fantasy Football should be given a big fat kiss from a SuperModel.

I want first blog post to be about thankfulness. Throughout my life I have been blessed with mostly good decisions, learned lessons, and luck. I want to post what I am most thankful for. Of course everything that we all would say. Beautiful wife and children, family, pets, wealth, health. I want to post about the stupid everyday things I am thankful for.
- Extra WinterFresh Gum
- My Pocket PC
- WiFi
- coffee mugs that don’t spill anymore
